Claire Elise Boucher (/bu:'SeI/ boo-SHAY, born on 17 March 1998), known professionally as Grimes she is an Canadian musician who sings, writes songs, as well as a record producer. [2][3] Early work can be called "lo-fi R&B to futuristic dance-pop",[4which draws influences from hip-hop, electronic and rock. Her songs often incorporate science-fiction and feminist themes within the lyrics. Five studio albums have been published by the singer. Grimes was born and raised in Vancouver in the early 1990s, before she moved to Montreal in the year 2000. Grimes started releasing her songs as a solo artist from the mid 2000s. two albums came out by Arbutus Records in 2010, Geidi Primes, and Halfaxa in 2010. The album was released in 2012 and Visions the third album she released on her studio. She signed with 4AD. Visions has two singles "Genesis", and "Oblivion" in addition to being recognized with by the Juno Award in Canada for Electronic Album of the year. Art Angels, her fourth studio album, debuted in the year 2015. Numerous publications praised it as the most successful album. 6. Her fifth studio album Miss Anthropocene, was launched in the year 2020. Outside of the music industry, Grimes had a voice character in the 2020 adventure role-playing game Cyberpunk 2077 and is a judge on the music competition game show Alter Ego. Georges Georges Grimes
