The band's debut album, which was titled "Eponymous" was released in 1973. They got a recording contract in the year 1972. The album was followed in 1973 by Get Your Wings. Toys in the Attic. Rocks. and Draw the Line. These albums helped Aerosmith to gain fame internationally. The albums featured famous songs like "Dream On", "Walk This Way" as well as "Sweet Emotion". Aerosmith's early five albums were all multi-platinum. Toys in the Attic and Rocks are considered as among the top hard rock albums ever. The band began to feel the consequences of their fast-paced music industry, which included touring as well as living together, and also using drugs as the decade advanced. Aerosmith was declining in the 1980s due to tensions between Perry and Tyler.
