She played Dyesebel, the legendary Komiks character in Mars Ravelo's Dyesebel. In addition, she was a host on the afternoon variety show, It's Showtime (2009-2020). Curtis is a native of Yarrawonga, Victoria, Australia she is the daughter of Carmencita Ojales a Filipina from Bolinao Pangasinan and James Ernest Curtis-Smith an Australian lawyer. Her father had been wed to Ojales before 1982. Her younger sister, who is also an actor, is her father. Clare is one of their cousins at the day of father's death. Clare passed away at four months old in 2007 due to an illness of the heart.
