Antonina Shevchenko
Antonina (or Antonia) Shevchenko fights as Antonina Shevchenko is a Kyrgyzstani Muay Thailand fighter for the UFC's flyweight division. She is the older sister of fellow UFC fighter and former UFC Flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko. Antonina Shevchenko is who is a Muay Thai Kickboxer began her fight sports career at her first IFMA World Championship Tournament. Shevchenko took the title in a unified victory against Suzane Miller. Antonina was able to continue her professional career after getting bronze and silver medal in 2008 and 2007 respectively, and a gold medal in 2011 along with the title of year-end 2016 IFMA amateur Muay thai world champion. Antonia started her professional career in at the age of 2003. She was the winner of the World K-1 Championships of WKC Light Welterweight in 2012, The Lion Fight Lightweight Championships 2016 and both the WMC World Championships as well as the Phoenix FC World Championships 2016. Antonina fought Isa Tidblad Keskikangas last time at the Phoenix Fighting Championship. She won by a unanimous decision. Antonina Shychenko's first professional MMA debut was in 2002, during the KFK Cup in Kyrgystan where she was matched against Anara Bayanova. She won via second-round TKO, and then won 2 additional fights at WXF X-Impact World Championships to earn a 3-0 record. Shevchenko took a hiatus to concentrate on the sport of kickboxing. Shevchenko returned against Anissahaddaoui in Phoenix FC 3. Shevchenko was able to defeat Anissa in a unanimous decision and beat Valerie Domergue on Phoenix FC 4 in 2017. She left the promotion in the year 2018 and joined Dana White's Contender Series in 2018. Shevchenko took on Jaimelene Nievera as part of Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series. Antonina knocked out Nievera using her striking skills that were superior during the clinch final round through knees to the body. Following this victory Antonina was given the chance to sign a UFC contract. Antonina Shychenko debuted in the UFC at TUF's Heavy Hitters finals, where she faced Ji Yeon Kim. Shevchenko took victory in a unanimous victory, however she lost her second fight to Roxanne Modafferi on an undisputed split decision. Antonina returned to the ring after the defeat and beat Lucie Pudddilova at UFC on ESPN Covington-Lawler by rear-naked submission during the second round. The fight was awarded Antonina the Bonus Fight of the Night. Shevchenko was 2-2 during her subsequent three matches which included a win against Ariane Lipski while falling to Katlyn Clarkagian and Andrea Lee. Antonina has recently been knocked out by Casey O'Neill in UFC Fight Night Santos Walker.
